St. Bonaventure University’s Arthur O. Eve Higher Education Opportunity Program recognized 63 students at the annual HEOP Honors and Chi Alpha Epsilon Reception on Tuesday, Jan. 28, in the Athletics Hall of Fame. The reception celebrated HEOP students who displayed academic distinction by achieving a GPA of 2.5 or higher for the fall 2013 academic semester.

Two students were inducted into Chi Alpha Epsilon (XAE), which acknowledges the accomplishments of students who are admitted to universities and colleges through opportunity programs. This semester’s inductees are Chernice Miller, a sophomore theater major, and Denise Muyibi, a sophomore education major; they are both from Brooklyn, N.Y.
