The Bona Venture, St. Bonaventure University's student-run newspaper since 1926, is run by students with faculty advisement.
The BV gives students from all disciplines and majors an opportunity to write on a variety of issues. The paper's four sections: News, Opinion, Features and Sports; present students a chance to write on what interests them.
Writing for the paper offers experience, training, editing and AP Style, and counts towards on-campus internship hours for graduation. Writing for The Bona Venture allows students to develop a portfolio of published clips to enhance résumés, boosting the chances of getting an internship or job in journalism.
We welcome students of all majors and years.
