The Master's in Strategic Leadership is an accelerated, one-year, 33-credit fully online program that is tailored to fit busy schedules.
Online courses are taken in 8-week sessions. Two sessions are offered per semester so you will see "Session 1" or "Session 2" as suggested times for the courses to be taken. Offerings vary for the semester so this is a suggested Plan of Study; courses do not need to follow a specific sequence except for Cornerstone and Capstone courses.
For those wishing to enroll in part-time study, the program can be taken in two years and a suggested Plan of Study is included.
The Cornerstone Course, MSL 605. Leadership and Values, is our gateway course or a course that all students must first take. The course introduces students to leadership theories that will be built on throughout the program and students will complete a 360 Evaluation to develop an action plan related to their leadership skills and abilities.
The Capstone Course, MSL 655. Project in Strategic Leadership, and MSL 660. Leadership Portfolio are required to complete the program. Each focuses on an individual student project and portfolio that integrates learning throughout the program and demonstrates each student’s unique leadership skills and attributes.
