* International Studies majors need to take courses in a particular language up to the 301- or 302-level. The language and level depend on the chosen World Regional Concentration. Students not prepared to begin at the appropriate level will need to take additional courses in the language, which count as general electives.

 

Interdisciplinary Methods

Choose one course.

 

Foundational Courses

Choose three courses from at least two groups and two disciplines. Students are encouraged to take additional courses from these groups as general electives.

 

   Group 1: World Comparisons

   Group 2: Social Issues

   Group 3: International Business

World Regional Concentration

Choose one concentration and within the concentration, choose five courses (15 credits) from at least two disciplines. Each concentration requires a certain proficiency in a foreign language, but language courses are not included in the concentration's 15 credits.
