Dr. Tyrone Bynoe, associate professor and director of the educational leadership programs leading to advanced supervisory licensure, has been accepted — in an invited and blind review — to present a paper on the “Historical Origins of School Finance Equalization” at the annual meeting of the Society for the Study of Curriculum History in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on April 10.

Bynoe will be presenting his paper as a member of the Organization of Educational Historians. His research in this paper has been partially supported by a Keenan Grant for the 2023-2024 academic year. 

Bynoe has also been recruited to serve as a section editor of an emerging Springer publication titled the International Handbook for Governance, Leadership, Administration, and Management in Education, featuring an anticipated publication date of March 2025.
