Dr. Benjamin Posmanick, assistant professor of finance, has published an article titled "On the Value of a Premium College Football Player: Evaluating the Literature" in the Journal of Sports Economics, along with Jeremy Losak of Syracuse University and Raymond "Skip" Sauer of Clemson University.

The article examines the literature that estimates the monetary value premium college football players bring to their universities to discuss the insights and shortcomings of current estimates of player value.
