This course is de-signed to address the various difficulties secondary teachers encounter when trying to teach literacy to a diverse group of secondary learners. Special needs, emotional, economic, social and cognitive problems will be explored. Students will learn strategies teachers can use to enhance the literacy of secondary learners.
