On Dec. 1, the Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts will be participating in national Day With[out] Art, a movement that began on Dec. 1, 1989, as a national day of action and mourning in response to the AIDS crisis.
In connection to an exhibition created for this day, the Quick Center is sponsoring AIDS Awareness Week offering events prompting the St. Bonaventure campus to take action against the AIDS pandemic.
Throughout the week, AIDS action materials, including buttons, red ribbons and reflection cards, will be available for free at the museum desk.
Also during the week, various students groups including SPECTRUM, Voices and the Urban Art Club will be holding smaller events across campus in support of AIDS awareness and action.
