For questions about Internships in the School of Communication:
Dr. Pauline Hoffmann
Our students are required to have 400 hours of internships to graduate. To help the Jandoli School assess a student's internship performance, we ask those hosting an intern to complete our electronic Internship Evaluation Form.
NOTE: Activities that result in academic credit toward a course, other than JMC 499/SC 499 (Comprehensive Experience), cannot be applied toward the 400-hour requirement.
On-Campus: Communications-related work for a student-run organization. Examples include, but are not limited to, internships with WSBU-FM, the campus radio station; The Bona Venure student newspaper; The Laurel, the campus literary magazine; or work as a member of the St. Bonaventure chapter of the American Advertising Federation.
Internship advisers (those in the “real world” who supervise SBU students during their internships) are asked to complete the form linked below for each intern.
