The Department of Nursing at St. Bonaventure is a member of the American Association of Colleges of Nursing, the national voice for academic nursing. The AACN works to establish quality standards for nursing education; assists schools in implementing those standards; influences the nursing profession to improve health care; and promotes public support for professional nursing education, research, and practice.
Additionally, the baccalaureate degree in nursing program at St. Bonaventure University is pursuing initial accreditation by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (www,ccneaccreditation.org). Applying for accreditation does not guarantee that accreditation will be granted.
