Students who transferred to St. Bonaventure University from two- and four-year institutions were among those cited for academic excellence at St. Bonaventure's 151st Annual Commencement Exercises on May 15.
Here's a look at several award-winning transfer students:
John J. Postl, Olean, N.Y.
Computer Science, Mathematics major
Honors:

- Mathematics Award
- Computer Science Achievement Award
- Honorable Mention: Computer Science Service Award
Plans:
John is enrolling in a computer science Ph.D. program at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute for fall 2011.

Angela is pursuing her master's in Differentiated Instruction from SBU and hopes to teach 4th, 5th or 6th grade in New York or Pennsylvania.
