Basketball Communications Director, Cleveland Cavaliers Operating Company, LLC
SBU Class of 1998 (Journalism and Mass Communication)
“When I chose to attend St. Bonaventure University, I had no idea of the impact it would have on the rest of my life. I discovered a true home away from home and established many great friendships that I hold dear to this day. It is a unique university with a beautiful campus and wonderful people who truly care about you as a person. Because it is so close to Cleveland, I was able to share my experiences and my basketball career with my family.
“The Journalism/Mass Communication program created a solid foundation for me to begin my career because it is respected in the public relations industry. St. Bonaventure was a catalyst for me to be able to secure my position with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Since then, I have taken on a number of roles with the Cavaliers and have accelerated my career to heights that I would have never imagined 10 years ago when I graduated.
“I give a lot of credit to the great people at SBU who gave their time and energy to make sure that I had the proper education and work ethic necessary to make these accomplishments happen. St. Bonaventure will always have a warm place in my heart. I consider myself very fortunate to have spent four years of my life in such a great place. I recommend this university to anyone looking for a first-class education and an unforgettable college experience.”

Early Childhood Education
“When I first visited St. Bonaventure, I immediately felt comfortable. I graduated from a small high school and I liked the small-school feeling that St. Bonaventure had. I had visited many other colleges but none of them gave me the ‘college’ feeling. By the time my visit to St. Bonaventure was over I knew I wanted to go there. The faculty members I met were very amicable and the students were welcoming.
“My major at St. Bonaventure is Early Childhood Education. I've always loved little kids. I think being a teacher is one of the most fulfilling jobs anyone can have and I’m looking forward to becoming one.” |
