Student Research Outside of SBU

Amalie Donius '08 did research on magnetocapacitance during a summer REU in physics      Student research opportunities at institutions or agencies outside of SBU are typically summer programs such as research experiences for undergraduates (REUs) or internships. REUs and internships must be applied for and can be quite competitive. Opportunities in a particular discipline can be found online by searching with the name of the discipline and "REU" or "internship." However, help is available closer to home: the departments listed below maintain Web pages with information about summer research opportunities. Moreover, Bonaventure faculty members are happy to offer students advice about summer programs.
