At Mindseeker in Charlotte, N.C., being a Bonnie gets you noticed.
Wells Fargo wanted a good communicator, so they hired a Bonnie, at the urging of alumni in the company.
Addressing students and alumni at this year's event will be Shannon Rozner, president of Financial-360, a financial planning team based in Rockville, Md. She oversees all aspects of the practice's business, whose seven-member team serves nearly 300 clients and advises on more than $220 million in assets.
Rozner joined Financial-360 following an unconventional path. Upon graduating from St. Bonaventure University with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology in 1994, she worked with at-risk youth and college students as a campus minister in suburban Detroit.
She subsequently received her law degree from The University of California, Berkeley. After graduation, she spent nine years at an international law firm, specializing in securities enforcement work. For the two years prior to joining F-360, she served as counsel for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), where she worked in the Department of Market Regulation.
Rozner is an active volunteer. She serves on the Alumni Board of the UC-Berkeley Law School Death Penalty Clinic and will soon join the board of directors for Friends of Guest House, a rehabilitation program for women coming out of prison in Virginia.
Rozner enjoys spending time with her husband, Steve, and their tween son, Ben; hanging out with friends; traveling; swimming and reading.
St. Bonaventure alumni representing the following businesses and organizations plan on attending the BONNIES4BONNIES networking event on Friday, Feb. 9, 2018:
