NEW PAID FAMILY LEAVE BENEFIT BEGINS     

The NYS-mandated Paid Family Leave benefit begins January 1, 2018.  For an overview of this benefit, please review this PFL Employee Presentation or this video provided by New York State.  Mandatory payroll deductions for this benefit start on January 12th.  Faculty and some staff are not eligible.  To apply or for any questions, please contact Human Resources.

FREE ON-SITE HEALTH CARE NOW AVAILABLE TO ALL FACULTY & STAFF     

SBU faculty and staff can now receive free on-campus care through our Wellness Center regardless of health insurance or employment status.  For details, click on the "BonaCare@Work" tab to the left or find them online HERE

TELEMEDICINE BENEFIT AVAILABLE OCTOBER 1st, 2017 

Faculty and staff carrying SBU health insurance now have another benefit: Telemedicine hosted by Doctors on Demand.  You can now see a board-certified physician any time and any where using your computer or mobile device.  Regular office visit charges apply.  Click here for Frequently Asked Questions.
