A Legacy in Leadership

While the master’s degree in Strategic Leadership is a new program, announced in February of 2013, St. Bonaventure University has been educating leaders for decades.

Some believe that leaders are born; however, innate ability does not determine quality.

There are good and bad leaders. Many are propelled to leadership roles because of a skill other than leadership that moved them up the corporate ladder. This St. Bonaventure program has taught me to recognize the strategy behind good leadership. Exemplary leadership can be learned.

Great leadership is needed to move our world forward in an innovative, conscientious and ethical way.

St. Bonaventure’s leadership program was the best decision I made to help me grow both professionally and personally.

Not only did I make lasting connections and friendships, but I was provided the skill sets to further enhance my abilities in the corporate world. Shortly after completing the program, I was promoted to the international side of my company and have continued to grow.

It is true, St. Bonaventure University is the place to become extraordinary!

The leadership program at St. Bonaventure offered a board curriculum to cultivate the attributes necessary to be a strong, confident and professional leader in today’s businesses.

This comprehensive program covered all aspects of business from marketing, planning, communications, and leadership. The skills I use every day. This program will nurture the instincts of a leader and teach students to focus their knowledge into the workplace to enhance their potential as a leadership professional.

Cluckey, who earned his Master's in Professional Leadership from St. Bonaventure, is assistant operations manager for NOCO's Buffalo Division.
