To maintain financial aid eligibility you must make Satisfactory Academic Progress, as defined by either federal standards (for federal aid programs) or the NY State Department of Education (for TAP). Satisfactory Academic Progress include guidelines for both GPA and program completion (that is, successfully finishing the courses that you attempt). Failure to meet SAP standards may result in financial aid probation or loss of federal or state aid.
