Writer's Bloc is St. Bonaventure University's group for creative writers to gather and support one another, building repertoire in the process.
Writers will lead workshop pieces or do student-led activities to encourage writing. The club includes field trips for readings or Skyping with authors to meet professionals in the field and gain outside interest. Writer's Bloc offers a regular outlet for creative writing. Faculty and staff are encouraged to participate.
The club believes in growth and support. Anyone can write in solitude, but groups allow criticism and advice to refine writing and praise to encourage it.
