Skate Club provides students with all levels of skateboarding experience the opportunity to interact with other members of the St. Bonaventure community.
Club members meet on the basketball courts by the Reilly Center and skate together in order to have fun and to learn from one another. Members inspire each other to be more creative and open-minded.
During the winter months, Skate Club members get together at local skate parks. This allows students to interact with community members and to represent St. Bonaventure in a public setting.
Members also get together outside of skating-related activities. The Skate Club hosts a "Chill and Grill" every spring where members get together to cook out and socialize.
On top of skateboarding, club members are interested in other forms of artistic expression.
Students who enjoy photography and cinematography are encouraged to get involved by taking photos or videos of Skate Club members.
Skate Club footage has even been featured on some of the university's commercials.
Those who want to express their creativity through skating are encouraged to join.
