Your weekly logs are an essential part of the program
The Bona Buddies program receives funding from New York state. We demonstrate our usefulness to the greater Olean community and our funding source by sharing mentors’ logs. The logs serve as a way of keeping in touch with the Bona Buddies Program.
Log entries are done by e-mail
Each week you are to send your program coordinator and Nick Goodell (see Contacts) an e-mail with a short statement of what you did with the person you are matched with through the program. You will relate how tutoring is coming along, how the person is progressing, etc.
There are separate reflection meetings for tutors and for mentors.
These meetings are opportunities for you to reflect on your work. There’s usually food.
