To provide some flexibility in a physics major's academic path, the Physics Department offers four degree concentrations: traditional physics, engineering physics, computational physics, and biophysics. The degree concentrations differ chiefly in the selection of two upper division courses. The biophysics concentration is an exception in that it also requires course work in biology. The Physics Department also offers a pre-engineering program. To see the plan of study for one of these programs, click on the appropriate link below.
