Ashley Oliver is a Political Science major and Law & Society minor who will graduate in 2013. She loves singing, sports, reading and movies.
Ashley started out as a Biology major, but after her first semester she realized her strengths lie in leadership, public speaking and government. She says, "choosing Political Science is the best choice I have ever made." Her professors have been open to questions and have given her optimism about her future. She says, "now that I know where I want to go, they are pushing me to go beyond my expectations for myself."
Ashley is applying for a Washington Center internship for her fall junior semester and plans to apply to law school. She hopes to eventually become a government official.
