The 2011 MATHCOUNTS Chautauqua/Cattaraugus Regional Contest
SBU hosted its 2011 MATHCOUNTS regional contest on Saturday, February 5. The three schools competing were Allegany-Limestone Central School (coach Kathy Stamets), Cheektowaga Central School (coach David Guzzino), and Tapestry Charter School from Buffalo (coach Garett Farrugia).
The top three individuals and the top three school teams received trophies. In addition, the top three teams have been invited to the New York State competition to be held on March 19 at the R.P.I. campus in Troy. The top individuals from the state contest will advance to the national competition to be held May 5 – 8 at Washington, D.C.

In addition, the top three teams have been invited to the New York State competition to be held on March 13 at the R.P.I. campus in Troy. The top individuals from the state contest will advance to the national competition to be held May 6 – 9 at Walt Disney World.

In addition, the top three teams have been invited to the New York State competition to be held on March 14 at the R.P.I. campus in Troy. The top individuals from the state contest will advance to the national competition to be held May 7 – 10 at Walt Disney World.

The contest was financially supported by St. Bonaventure University and two anonymous grants.
The top three individuals and the top three school teams received trophies. In addition, the top three teams have been invited to the New York State competition to be held on March 15 at the R.P.I. campus in Troy. The top individuals from the state contest will advance to the national competition to be held May 8 – 11 in Denver.

In addition, the top three teams have been invited to the New York State competition to be held on March 18 at the R.P.I. campus in Troy. The top individuals from the state contest will advance to the national competition to be held May 11 – 14 in Arlington, Virginia.
