* Classical languages majors must take a modern language course at the 202 level or above. Students not prepared to begin at this level will need to take additional modern language courses, which count as general electives.

 

** The Greek electives must be advanced courses, that is, numbered 300 or above.

 

Comprehensive Examinations

The comprehensive requirements for classical studies majors include a departmental oral and written examination.
