About the Office of Marketing and Communications
The Office of Marketing and Communications serves the University in numerous ways. We can help advertise an upcoming event, publicize an interesting story or personal accomplishment, create publications, and help faculty and staff enhance their presence on St. Bonaventure's Web site.
The Office of Media Relations and Marketing provides assistance in developing and disseminating press releases. Additionally, this office records clippings of printed articles and stories. We're your best source when you want to get the word out to the world at large or when you want to know about St. Bonaventure University happenings. If you are a member of the media, click here:
The Director of Print and Electronic Publications will work with you to design and produce any type of publication. If you're sponsoring an event on campus, we can design and print posters, fliers, invitations, postcards, tickets, programs, etc. If you want to let people know what your area does, we can create an informational brochure that highlights what they need to know.
Remember, though, that planning ahead is the key. Depending on your publication needs, anywhere from four to six weeks is needed for production time. In addition, this office has formed a partnership with Technology Services to help members of the SBU community enhance their presence on St. Bonaventure's Web site. Content of the Web site is maintained and updated through this partnership.
The Office of Fundraising Communications works closely with all members of University Relations in creating letters and invitations for the constituents of St. Bonaventure University.
How we work
We welcome inquiries from all University departments and programs. Do you have news you want to share, an event to promote? We'll help determine the best placement for this news - whether it be in our weekly campus publication, Inside Bona's, the university magazine, press releases sent to radio, television and newspaper outlets, placement on our Web site or all of the above.
