Class of 1983
Major: Mass Communication
I have been blessed with opportunities that have allowed me to use my journalism background while simultaneously employing the MBA that I earned in 1997 – and pursuing my passion for celebrating American history.
After spending a decade as a local cable television news anchor, I am currently the corporate secretary and vice president of corporate communications at CH Energy Group and its primary subsidiary Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corporation.
My team is responsible for all federal disclosure and financial filing requirements, as well as media relations, employee communications, our website, advertising, community relations, etc.
I have been an officer for 12 years, and am the longest-serving executive female officer at my corporation(s). Visit www.CentralHudson.com for more information.
In addition to my work and family (I have three sons), history is my great passion. In a volunteer capacity, I have served for six years as editor-in-chief of the award-winning official magazine of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution, American Spirit. (Visit www.dar.org for more info on our organization, one of the world’s largest service organizations.)

I will continue in that role for at least another three years, when I will simultaneously serve as the New York State Regent of the DAR, responsible for 7,000 members in 130 chapters across the state.
As a result of the strong journalism foundation that I received at Bona’s, it’s a joy for me to edit a national periodical that focuses on American History from Colonial times until the early 1800s, the time when our nation was founded and took root.
