St. Bonaventure’s Jazz Ensemble and Chamber Music Ensemble will host their fall semester concerts in the upcoming week, both to be held in the Rigas Family Theater of the Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts.
At 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 20, the Jazz Ensemble will perform pieces ranging from traditional jazz to rock, funk and Latin-inspired works. Hear classic jazz tunes like "Mercy, Mercy, Mercy," "Bernie's Tune" and others, as well as originals written by the band's director, Dr. Les Sabina, professor of music.
On Sunday, Nov. 24, the Chamber Music Ensemble will perform. Starting at 2 p.m., the ensemble will perform a selection of classical works intended for small, intimate ensembles of musicians.
