This course will begin with a brief study of 20th century developments and events which shaped contemporary making of images. The third course of a three-course sequence in survey format, students explore artists’ works and movements, which contribute to Modern and Post-Modern art movements and expressions, from contemporary art through avant-garde art and current art media. The survey will offer research methods through image surveys, lectures, presentations and gallery visits.
