The Office of Disability Support Services at St. Bonaventure University is committed to providing an equal opportunity for success for all St. Bonaventure students with permanent or temporary disabilities.

St. Bonaventure does not discriminate on the basis of race, creed, national origin, age, sex, marital status, or disabled state in its admissions policies, educational programs or employment practices.

The Office of Disability Support Services offers students a wide array of academic and personal support services to aid their personal growth, ability to self-advocate, and academic success.

It is the university's goal that as a result of services provided by the Office of Disability Support Services and the Teaching and Learning Center, students with disabilities will learn to:

  • set realistic goals and priorities for course work
  •

  • advocate for their rights as students who qualify to receive services and accommodations
  •

  • understand and be able to discuss their disabilities with faculty members
  •

  • study effectively and efficiently through use of appropriate study strategies
