Mt. Irenaeus Student Overnight
Thursday, July 18, 2013
If you were involved in ministry in high school and/or are interested in the array of ministries St. Bonaventure University has to offer, please consider joining us for an overnight at Mt. Irenaeus.
At The Mountain, you will have a chance to hear about the many ways of becoming involved in ministry and meet the team of dedicated ministers and student leaders. You will also get a chance to meet other incoming students with similar interests and enjoy your time at Mt. Irenaeus, a Franciscan retreat about 40 minutes from campus.
While this event is for students only, parents will have the opportunity to visit Mt. Irenaeus during Family Weekend in September.
The day will be filled with community building, a tour of the mountain, and a chance to reflect on your journey from high school to St. Bonaventure University. A bonfire will cap off the night.
Comfortable clothes, sneakers, toiletries and - if you want to swim - a bathing suit are all you'll have to bring!
Please meet at 10 a.m. on July 18 in the Shay/Loughlen lobby for a light breakfast before we travel to The Mountain. Participants will arrive back on campus by 9 a.m. on July 19 to begin your on-campus orientation session!
