Semester in the Newsroom will parallel the professional experience of producing a daily television newscast. The course will involve writing, reporting, anchoring and technical production of a daily newscast to be carried on SBU-TV and area cable systems. Focus will be on developing skills that will allow immediate movement into professional TV news positions.

- Post-requisite: Internship with a television news department between junior and senior years.
