The Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts at St. Bonaventure University is vying to become a host site in New York state's Creativity Incubator pilot partnership program, winning the right to host a regional workshop in May aimed at presenting museum professionals with new, innovative approaches and improving visitors' experiences.
The hands-on workshop series invites museum staff to test out experimental interpretive approaches to presenting their collections. As an added incentive, the host site will have its collections or permanent installations re-imagined by creative thinkers in the field and workshop participants.
The Creativity Incubator, a NYSCA/GHHN Partnership Program, is made possible with funds from the New York State Council on the Arts, with the support of Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo and the New York State Legislature
