The Office of Marketing and Communications is located on the second floor of Francis Hall on the East End of campus. During the academic year, our office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Summer hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Seven St. Bonaventure University students were inducted April 26 into the Xi Delta Chapter of the National Spanish Honor Society Sigma Delta Pi.
The induction was conducted by chapter adviser Dr. Leigh A. Simone, assistant professor of modern languages. In attendance was department chair Dr. Alva V. Cellini, faculty member Dr. Gregory Newall and society members Carolyn Becker and Adam Ditcher.
Founded in 1919, Sigma Delta Pi is the largest international foreign language society in the world with over 540 chapters and the only honor society devoted exclusively to students of Spanish in four-year colleges and universities.
Inducted were seniors Kayla Dubiel of Baldwinsville, Peter Bertoldo of Attica, Kaitlyn Bearce of Lima, Erik Furgal of Bowling Green, Ky.; and juniors Kelly Haberstroh of Yorktown Heights, Alexa Zak of Buffalo, and Mary Killen of Branchport.
