The Office of Marketing and Communications is located on the second floor of Francis Hall on the East End of campus. During the academic year, our office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Summer hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Poet Rod Smith will read from his work at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, in the Loft of the Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts. Smith is the author of "Deed, Music or Honesty," "Protective Immediacy," and "In Memory of My Theories." He edits the journal Aerial and publishes Edge Books. He is also editing "The Selected Letters of Robert Creeley" with Kaplan Harris and Peter Baker for The University of California Press.
Smith has taught at the Iowa Writers' Workshop, the Corcoran College of Art + Design, George Mason University, and currently, at the Maryland Institute College of Art.
He is the final guest poet in the university's Visiting Poets Series, which is sponsored by grants from the Leo E. Keenan Jr. and James J. Martine Faculty Development Endowments at St. Bonaventure as well as the university’s Visiting Scholars Committee.
