The Office of Marketing and Communications is located on the second floor of Francis Hall on the East End of campus. During the academic year, our office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Summer hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
St. Bonaventure University will host a panel discussion titled “Veterans and Their Families: Identification of Needs, Support and Services” from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, in the William F. Walsh Science Center auditorium.
Dr. Barbara Trolley, chair of the university’s Disability Committee, hopes the discussion will spark more interest and awareness in veterans’ needs, not only on campus, but also within the entire community.
“Our moderator is Dr. Greg Gibbs (SBU education professor) and he is very active in the American Legion and is holding a number of offices within the American Legion nationally,” said Trolley.
The six panelists include:
“I’d like to continue to make Bonaventure a veteran-friendly campus,” Trolley said. “We have a veterans lounge and I’m looking into more things to better serve veterans as students.”
