Fantastic Artwork! Amazing!
On Thursday, April 28, 2011, over two hundred parents,
teachers and friends joined sixty-seven artists for the opening
of the 2011 Middle School Juried Exhibition at The Regina A.
Quick Center for the Arts.

The four jurors, Courtney Blackmon of the Cattaraugus
County Arts Council, Bobby Sader from ALCS, and SBU Art
majors Karen Vester and Hannah Walker, were “truly thrilled to
take part in such a wonderful project and in awe of the art the
students created. The level of excellence was so high, it made
our jobs very difficult.” They also said, “This artwork was
fantastic. It was just amazing! These students have a great
future ahead of them.”

Packets of four note cards were provided for each artist,
featuring their own artwork, along with a coupon for
free watercolor paints from the Ink Well.

Artwork was chosen from over three hundred entries from
fifteen area schools including Cassadaga Valley, Portville,
West Valley, Ellicottville, Wellsville, Bolivar-Richburg, Allegany-
Limestone, Olean, Salamanca, Randolph, Fillmore, Otto-Eldred,
and Port Allegany.
