It is so rewarding to watch the transformation in our students as they grow from college students to young professional educators. As Elementary Education majors, our students learn to teach by teaching. We help our students meet the challenge of teaching a child by working side-by-side with them as they learn to teach in actual classrooms. I challenge my students by encouraging their curiousity. College is about ideas...about thinking. When a student challenges me or challenges one of the ideas we are exploring in class, I know that I am really connecting with that student in an exciting way.
