Routine maintenance requests may be entered electronically with the Facilities Trouble Report form found on my.sbu.
Alternatively, we are happy to take your message by phone at Ext. 2622. The messages are monitored between 7 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and after 4:30 p.m. will be picked up the next workday.
Emergencies after hours should be transmitted to Safety and Security at Ext. 2525. The dispatcher there can reach us 24/7.
What’s an emergency?
- Safety items, like lock and key issues, fire safety items
- Anything that involves ongoing damages, like plumbing leaks
- Anything that makes the room unusable
Problems with smoke detectors or carbon monoxide detectors should always be reported to Ext. 2525 as emergencies.
