Teaching Philosophy: |
We pursue knowledge for the sake of truth. What is truth? I support a Catholic university's position that the greatest truth of all is found in Jesus Christ who is the way, the truth, and the life. The source of knowledge is from God. To deny God is to deny truth and knowledge.
The University’s mission statement states, “At the core of our identity is a strong belief in the goodness of life and the God-given worth of every individual. We treat all members of our community with dignity and strive to help them reach their full potential. We commit ourselves to actions that empower all members of the St. Bonaventure community and encourage their full participation in creating our future.”
My philosophy of teaching is in unison with what this University stands for as stated in above paragraph. I believe in the God-given worth of every individual and striving to help them reach their God-given potential.
