Kelley Oxford Program, Sr. Margaret Carney, O.S.F., St. Bonaventure University president, and the Oxford directorial team presented Br. Teaching Philosophy: |
As an educator at St. Bonaventure University, it is my responsibility to further the values associated with St. Bonaventure’s intellectual journey. My goal is not to impose knowledge but to awaken a creative response in the learner so the student will be motivated from within to learn.
My ongoing hope is that each individual will take personal responsibility for one’s intellectual journey while respecting the dignity and worth of all creation. And, that’s the exciting challenge of teaching at St. Bonaventure!
