As a small liberal arts university, we're particularly proud to have achieved accreditation from the
Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP), an internationally recognized accrediting body for educator preparation.
CAEP advances excellent educator preparation through evidence-based accreditation that assures quality and supports continuous improvement to strengthen P-12 student learning. Institutions that have gained CAEP accreditation have met national standards in areas such as content and pedagogical knowledge, clinical partnerships and practice, candidate quality, recruitment and selectivity, program impact on P-12 students, and provider quality, continuous improvement and capacity.
We're equally proud of our accreditation by the
Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP) for entry-level programs in clinical mental health counseling and school counseling. CACREP accredits master's and doctoral degree programs in counseling at colleges and universities throughout the world, assuring they meet or exceed national standards.
