We know in our heart, our daughter is at the right place! Everything is just working. She has found her niche. She has made great friends. She is growing and maturing. She is challenged and getting through stressful moments. She is empowered to live her life and change this world. She is definitely on the right path for her good journey. As I share with other parents of freshmen at other universities, we know we are truly blessed.

Maureen Shepherd of Ashburn, Va. Her daughter, Shannon, is a marketing major.

St. Bonaventure is a college experience that will offer your child everything that he will need to develop emotionally and socially, and provide the academics that will give him the foundation for a successful career. It is a college community like no other, and can offer a great education at an affordable price.

Bob Zappia of Newark, N.Y. His son, Kyle, is a journalism/mass communication major.

Go visit, walk around, get a feel for the area and surroundings. We loved it the minute we drove on campus. Let your child make the decision as far as where he feels most comfortable. He will know during the first visit how it makes him feel. We visited six colleges and Josh always kept going back to SBU. I remember pulling into SBU and saying under my breath "I would feel so comfortable leaving my son here," but I did not tell him that until after he made his decision. I wanted it to be his choice. There is so much emotion during senior year, just cherish all your time together. You will feel so safe and comfortable knowing your child is at Bona’s. It is a home away from home.

Michele Carniewski of Erie, Pa. Josh, is a journalism/mass communication major.
