The elementary education undergraduate degree is registered in New York and accredited by NCATE, the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education.

The Clare College curriculum also includes a three-credit quantitative reasoning requirement. Elementary education majors satisfy this requirement by passing any of the mathematics courses listed in the above table under Certification Requirements. |
Academic Concentration
Choose one concentration from among English, Math/Science/Technology (MST), and Social Studies. Within the concentration, take 30 credits of courses, as indicated below. Note that the courses include several of the requirements listed in the table above.
