Internship: Albany

Annette Martiny ('03) with New York State Assemblyman Jay Dinga.Through the New York State Assembly Internship, a student is provided with the opportunity to live and work in Albany for a semester, or a session of the Assembly. This internship is the only internship to submit to an independent accredititing process performed by the State Board of Regents' National Program on Noncollegiate Sponsored Instruction


In addition to the student being able to participate in the state Assembly, the student must attend a weekly course taught by two professors-in-residence. The student receives a full semester worth of credit (15 credits), as well as important experience for a career of public service.  (POLS 492 02)
